Research at the Aachener Verfahrenstechnik (AVT.CVT) in RWTH Aachen University centers on relevant problems arising from global change. The core research of Prof. Matthias Wessling’s chair focuses on the development and application of membrane-integrated reaction and separation processes. Within the Innomem frame, we upgrade a spinning pilot line for hollow fiber membrane fabrication with novel geometries to enhance membrane performance. Doing this, a second key role in the Innomem project is the customized manufacturing of spinnerets with 3D-printing techniques.
